He is a proven calving ease sire.  His dam is a top producer and has a great udder.  He is line bred for calving ease and birth wt but still has some muscle. He is a dark even roan polled calf at a frame 5.2. EPDs CE 8.7 MCE 1.3 BW -2.8 WW 8.3 YW 19 M 2.3. He had the lowest birth wt at 72lbs, one of the best weaning weights at just under 700lbs (693). This performance gave him ratios of 120.5 in a contemporary group of 43 and 107.9 in the group of 20 bull prospects. PJ had second largest rib eye by only .1 at 15.6 of all the outstanding bulls presented by Jungles Shorthorn Farms at the NWSS. He also had the highest rib eye area/ cwt in the entire show. ————-All of this and out of Derek’s “favorite 2y/o”not a bad start.
