This 5 year old female has already produced many top individuals, has a short calving interval despite being flushed successfully twice —– a rare combination. Her dam and maternal brothers and sisters are outstanding producers for us and also represent top notch herd bulls at Peak View Ranch, Jungles Shorthorn Farms, and Paint Valley Farms.

Her 2012 heifer calf’s birth weight was 78 lbs, was one of the top individuals on our Champion Pen of heifers at NWSS this January 2013, and had yearling ultrasound data that showed a rib eye far greater in size than most yearling bulls of all breeds( 13.7) with IMF of 5.21  all in a 5.5- 6 frame package. Her stats were BW 78, WW 555, YW 850

This was all accomplished without creep feed and a modest caloric intake post weaning. The most important fact is that she is feminine with appropriate udder and vulvar development and is bred to calve at 23 months.

809, her dam, her daughters, and all of her siblings have calved at 2y/o without assistance.

Oh yes, she has one of our top bull calves this spring as a natural calf for 2013 — solid red polled son of Studer’sTaylor Made. She is bred back to Taylor Made for 2014.
